The wallpaper was created in collaboration with En Calcat Abbey and is a contemporary adaptation of Dom Robert's work Ombelles. It was redrawn by hand by Francesco Battista.
Dom Robert (1907-1997), pseudonym of Guy de Chaunac-Lanzac, was born in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. As a Benedictine monk at En Calcat Abbey, he was one of the masters of contemporary tapestry art. His artistic life consisted of contemplating and sketching nature and following the weaving work in the workshops of Aubusson.
The design is supplied in a set with panels A and B. After attaching panels A and B to the wall, the motif can be extended horizontally as desired by adding further sets.
The design is also available as an individual made-to-measure. For more information on this and the respective prices per square meter, see our form for wallpaper made to measure. Here you can request a non-binding design draft, tailored to your individual wall dimensions.
The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply: The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
