Many of the wallpaper patterns were first designed by Marimekko as textile patterns. The brand became world famous when Jackie Kennedy wore a red Marimekko dress on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1960. To this day, the abstract patterns with their bright colours stand for free-spirited elegance.
